Sharon took her first yoga class in 2003 and quickly fell head over heels in love with the practice. Two years later she retired from a successful thirty-three year corporate career and became a certified Kripalu Yoga instructor and has been teaching ever since. Sharon teaches a sweet, slow, stretchy style of yoga focusing on breath, alignment, and the release of tension. Her classes encourage students to go deeply into feeling and to make each posture their own. Up-leveling options are provided for those want more intensity, and gentle adjustments are suggested for those wanting a softer practice. Her classes are accessible to all ages and all levels of physical ability.

In additional to her Kripalu certification Sharon has studied with several nationally known teachers including: Tias Little, Sarah Powers, Anna Forrest, Kofi Busia, David Williams. She frequently assists workshops at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge Massachusetts.
